This
Department is responsible for performing all City Public Works functions
to acquire, develop, construct, operate and maintain the City
infrastructure, buildings, equipment and facilities.
This includes all engineering, transportation, drainage and
utility operations for the Public Works services and management
functions.
Innovative engineering design, review of development site plans,
supervision and inspection of construction, and project administration
are included in the departmental operations.
The
Director of Public Works is responsible for the dependable, safe,
courteous and efficient administration and operation of the Streets,
Stormwater, Garage, Facilities, Water, Wastewater, and
Reclaimed Water Divisions.
